Messi bids farewell to the Argentina national team in the early hours of this Wednesday (midnight) and has received a message from Neymar via social media.
"Anyone who loves football has enjoyed these past years. Today is your last match in the shirt of your national team, of your country, and I hope you enjoy every second, and that all the tributes make you happy. It is not only Argentina that thanks you, the world thanks you for everything you have done for football. Thank you for making me love football even more, it was an honour to have played against you and even more to make history by your side. Thank you."
The Brazilian shared a dressing room with Messi between 2013 and 2017 at Barcelona, and between 2021 and 2023 at PSG.
